  3.                             FUE - a 3D adventure
  4.  
  5.         FUE is a hard game to describe.  Set in a maze startlingly like
  6. that of WIZARDY, it is really much different.  The FIRX Underground Empire
  7. is the headquarters and factory of a large, magical-technical corporation
  8. gone to seed.  Abandoned, more or less, for untold centuries, it is the home
  9. of strange creatures, unusual machines, the odd magical effect, and a large
  10. and bizarre maze.  I even get lost in it, and I created the damn thing.
  11.         You won't know what the object of the game is until you play for a
  12. while.  You'll have to use logic and your powers of deduction.  You have to
  13. be patient, and willing to die now and then.  You have to be stubborn.
  14.         FUE is semi-animated and time plays a factor.  Anything you do in
  15. FUE remains done.  Sometimes events seem to happen at random, as in real
  16. life.  Sometimes luck, good and bad, is very important.
  17.        To play the game, type  'foyer <cr>' at the DOS prompt.
  18. You will be prompted to enter your name.  For each name a
  19. copy of the Empire will be created.  There is enough room on a 360k disk
  20. for 2 or 3 separate games.  Everything else that needs to be explained
  21. will be as you play.  If things aren't clear, well, use your head, Jocko!
